Polishing marble tiles?
I used that marble tiles for my countertop. For ease I left the edges square. I’m now attempt to shine the undressed edges. I used that some 120 grit sandpaper to sand away the mill cut marks, than used that 1500 grit to buff it up.
But I am not getting the equal shine as the top of the tile, im astonished and curious is there a little sort of product (wax, oil, etc) that’s used to take the high luster? Any intelligence and insight would be appreciating! Thanks everebody

Yes, this is possible.
You need to buy a Water base/dwater soluble polyurethane product that is slicker than or equal to Paint depts. @ A Lowe, a Home Depot, or local hardware store. I would buy the “Gloss” finish the fourth one. Minwax also sells a good product.
The most resistant species is outside nominal one. . . Developed to withstand the outside elements. Be sure to have removed any wax residue before application of the product by brush only for areas that are dull. I personally tried this procedure more than once with great results. . .
It is certainly worth trying, considering the only other alternative would be to polish the way they were. Hope this works for you and good luck with your project. . .
