What size knife I use for installing travertine tile 6×6 has fallen in the shower?
i’m using a unmodified white weak set because i’m installing the tile over a kerdi shower system and the tile is 3/8 in thick

A 1 / 4”x 1 / 4 “notch trowel should do the job. Be sure to leave enough time to dry kerdi system.
If you access LAticrete thinsets, the Multimax 255 is very nice to use for this project.
It is a product based on a Portland atypical sag. Stretches like gum, but it is a thinset. Kevlar has a mildew killing agent in it. Mapei and Custom make similar products.

You can use a 3 / 16 “V notch trowel the tile size. Dont overspread the thinset as it will skin over fast enough.
