Use a wet saw with a diamond blade. Curved cuts to mark the curve with a marker or china sharpee. You can make only straight cuts with a tile saw to cut so we have a bunch of “relief” cuts up the line.
Then, as you cut along the curve (from the relief cut, relief cut) pieces will no longer allowing you generally follow the curve.
The curve can then be smoothed with the tile saw as a mylo.Check this out: ► http://www.Rd.Com/ content / openContent. I; contentId = 18144

My husband does this for a living, and if a lot of work and I do not know all the steps i know uses a saw, grinder and polisher.

Not sure what you mean by a curve, but if you need a round hole offer a selection of holesaws to roofers. Specifically on marble, granite, porcelain, slate, etc. Give really neat effects.
